Camino Day 1 – Travel
Day 1 – always expect the unexpected, life can throw you some real curve balls sometimes, we nearly missed our flight, nearly missed our connecting bus in France, DID miss our connecting train… did we get to our destination?

Day 0 – packing before the departure, top tip, DO NOT do your first pack on the day before you leave, ideally do it at least 7 days before you go!!
20 days to go until the Camino Adventure starts and the equipment gathering is going well, I want to do another proper post about this later, but as its exactly 20 days today (and I have changed the start date from the 22nd to the 25th) I wanted to do a really quick post to celebrate that date, I will probably do a full kit list video (like this one from Alison Stauver) before I go and another when I get back. Thanks should also go to Lindsay Cowie (from Vancouver) for her excellent YouTube videos about the walk.
Below is a photo of some of the stuff I have put together so far and a little bit about some of them:
On 22nd April 2016 I am finally going to head off to walk the Camino Trail which is a 753km walk from the south of France at a little place called Saint-Jean Pied-de-Port (just a little to the east of Biarritz), which literally translated means “Saint John at the foot of the mountain pass” and ends at the Cathedral at Santiago de Compostela. I have been told that its well worth adding another 4 days and walking another 100km right to the coast at Fisterra.
Day 6 of 30 of the #InfinitePossibilitiesProject : Today we look at what baby steps we can take towards obtaining our goals, in this blog I also point to a new tool I am using to stick to my daily goals, and which I am finding is working really well for me so far…
Day 5 of 30 of the #InfinitePossibilitiesProject : Todays task was visualisation Mike asked us to sit quietly and visualise our goals as if we had already achieved them. This was an amazing experience, I really didn’t think I would be any good at this, but once I got started it actually become fun!…
Day 3&4 of 30 of the #InfinitePossibilitiesProject : Day 3 was to get into the detail of my 2016 goals and Day 4 was to start to create some kind of visual feedback of those goals. I have combined both into one as it seemed to make most sense and created a Pinterest vision board…
Day 2 of 30 of the #InfinitePossibilitiesProject : Todays task is to “Get a theme for 2016” and its been really tricky to get it down to just a few words but here’s what I’m going to go for, which of course ties in nicely with yesterdays 5 goals:
Day 1 of 30 of the #InfinitePossibilitiesProject : Todays task is to “Get clear on the new year” by listing at least 5 general goals for 2015, nothing too specific at this point apparently. I am sure these will be expanded upon over the next 30 days…
